ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to consider her representation dated 25.11.2024 and issue patta in her favour in respect of the Natham land situated at Survey No.99/7, Pathiripatti, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District.

2. Heard the arguments of Mr.R.Murugappan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Jeya Priya, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4. According to the petitioner, she has been in possession and enjoyment of the aforementioned property by putting up house thereon. On the strength of long possession, the petitioner submitted a representation before the first respondent on 25.11.2025 seeking issuance of patta. The acknowledgment receipt issued to the petitioner would indicate the representation of the petitioner has been forwarded to the third respondent. However, till date, the same has not been considered by the third respondent. Therefore, the petitioner has come before this Court.

5. Mrs.S.Jeya Priya, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents, would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered on its own merits within time stipulated by this Court.

6. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the entitlement of the petitioner to get patta for the aforementioned property, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.11.2024 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
