ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to consider her representation dated 25.11.2024 submitted before the first respondent seeking issuance of patta in respect of the natham property situated in Survey No.99/7, Pathiripatti Village, Kulithalai Taluk, 2.Heard the arguments of Mr.R.Murugappan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3.According to the petitioner, she has been in possession and enjoyment of the subject property for the past 15 years, by constructing a house. By virtue of her long possession, she submitted a representation on 25.11.2024 before the first respondent seeking issuance of patta and the same was forwarded to the third respondent for consideration. Till date, the third respondent has not considered the application submitted by the petitioner. Hence, she has come before this Court. 4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner has not produced any material to show that the representation submitted by the petitioner before the first respondent was forwarded to the competent authority, namely, the third respondent.
5.The petitioner claims that she has been in possession and enjoyment of the natham land in survey No.99/7 for more than 15 years by putting up the construction thereon. The competent authority to consider the issuance of patta in respect of natham land is the third respondent. However, the petitioner submitted a representation before
the first respondent on 25.11.2024. Though it is claimed by the petitioner that her representation was forwarded to the third respondent, she has not produced any material to substantiate her claim. Therefore, the petitioner is directed to submit a fresh representation before the third respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the fresh representation, the third respondent shall consider the same and pass final orders on its own merits, within period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the representation.
