O R D E R

On 15.03.2017, this Court passed the following order: "This petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the Respondents 1 to 4 to take appropriate action against the Respondents No.5 and 6 and to restore the possession to the Petitioner vide Representation dated 04.02.2017.

2. It is seen that the sixth respondent, who is an Advocate by profession, against whom several criminal cases are pending, has forcibly evicted the petitioner from the house at No.68, Sengunthar South Street, Ambasamuthram, Tirunelveli District and put up his Board.

3. This Court directs the Superintendent of Police, Tirunelveli District to provide sufficient Police force to the 4th respondent herein and ensure that the petitioner is put back into the possession of the property and give a report to this Court on 20.03.2017.

List this matter on 20.03.2017."

2. Today, Mr.A.Kamaraj, Special Sub-Inspector of Police, Ambasamudram Police Station, is present. On instructions, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the order dated 15.03.2017 has been complied with and the petitioner and her family have been put in possession of the property.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner also agreed with the said submission.

4. Hence, this Writ Petition is closed with liberty to the fifth respondent to proceed against the petitioner only under due process of law for eviction. No costs.

5. This Court places on record its appreciation to the Superintendent of Police, Tirunelveli District and the Inspector of Police, Ambasamuthiram Police Station, Tirunelveli District, for effectively carrying out the directions of this Court.
