CRIME NO.178 OF 2018 ... RESPONDENT/ COMPLAINANT Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to modify the conditions imposed by this Honourable Court in Crl.O.P. (MD) NO.12978 of 2018 dated 03/08/2018.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.M.E.ILANGO, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.M.ASOKAN, Government Advocate(Crl.Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- The petitioner has applied for modification of the order of this Court granted on the earlier occasion. This Court is not inclined to modify the direction with regard to the submission of letter of unconditional apology to Arun Kumar and Nirmala Mary. But then, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner apprehends that this would be put against the petitioner and affect his right to defend the criminal case.

therefore, the same cannot be put against the petitioner in any manner before any forum. It does not amount to admission of guilt by the petitioner. It is made clear that the fact that the petitioner is complying with the direction of this Court shall not published in any media including social media. Accordingly, this Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
