ORDER:- These Petitions coming on for hearing on this day under the caption 'Extension of time for Lower Court' and upon perusing earlier order dated 20.12.2022 and the requisition submitted by the Chief Judicial Magistrate/Special Judge for Prevention of Corruption Act Case, Theni in D.No.2035/2024 dated 09.08.2024, seeking further Nine months time for dispose of the case in 1/3

Spl.C.No.16/2014, this Court made the following Order: This case has been listed today under the caption 'for extension of time' to dispose of the case in Spl.Case.No.16 of 2014.

2. By the order dated 20.12.2022, this Court directed the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Theni, to conclude the case in Spl.Case.No.16 of 2014 pending on his file, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. Now, the learned Judge, seeks further time to complete the trial process.

3. Considering the reasons assigned by the learned Judge, this Court is inclined to grant further time and accordingly, nine months time is granted. The learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Theni, is directed to comply with the directions of this Court, without any further delay.
