ORDER

Writ Petition is filed for directing the respondent No.2 herein to consider the appointment of the petitioner as Associate Professor (Dentist) with consequential benefits. 2.Heard, Mr.Mr.T.Lajapathi Roy appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Murugappan appearing for the first Respondent. Heard, both counsels and with this consent the matter is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. Though this Writ Petition is for issuing the Writ of Mandamus seeking positive direction against the 2nd respondent to consider the appointment of the petitioner, as Associate Professor (Dentist) with consequential benefits, the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner will be satisfied if this Court direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.01.2017 and pass orders on merits within the stipulated time fixed by this Court.

4. Having regard to the limited Scope of the prayer sought

for before this Court, this Court is inclined to pass the following order, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's case.

"The second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.01.2017 on merits and in accordance with law with in a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order." 5.This Writ petition is Disposed of accordingly.
