ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioners representation, dated 28.11.2016 and further to direct Respondents to grant patta in favour of the petitioner. 2.Mr.A.Muthukaruppan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2.
3.By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 4.The Petitioner had purchased the property in S.NO.821/A, Aravakurichi Village, Aravakurichi Taluk, Karur District, measuring an extent of 3024 sq.ft from one Ponnambalam by way of registered sale deed and he was in possession and enjoyment of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
the said property. Subsequently, he had given a representation on 28.11.2016 seeking for issuance of patta in his favour. Since the respondents have not considered the said representation till date, the present Writ Petition has been filed before this Court. 5.In view of the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition and without going into the merits of the claim made by the Petitioner, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 28.11.2016 on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass orders on the same, after conducting an enquiry as contemplated under the Patta Pass-book Act within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The second respondent while conducting such enquiry, shall give prior notice to all persons, who may be interested in the subject lands. 6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
