O R D E R

This Writ petition is filed seeking for a mandamus, directing the respondent to provide electricity service connection to the survey No.421/17 situated at S.M.Ilanthaikulam Village, Guruvadi Post, Kadaladi Taluk, Ramnad District.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that even though the petitioner sought for electricity connection for her house property by paying the necessary fees, the respondent has not provided any service connection so far.

3.On the other hand, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that there is an objection raised by one M.Paul Pandi son of Madasamy Devar against the provision of the electricity service connection to the petitioner and that the petitioner has also not furnished the necessary documents sought by the department through proceedings dated 28.12.2015. 4.Considering the above stated facts and circumstances, this Writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner seeking for electricity connection and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law after hearing the objector as well if any. 5.Needless to say that the petitioner has to pay the necessary fees for effecting such service connection in the event the department comes to the conclusion that such service connection can be provided to the petitioner. Such exercise shall be done by https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the respondent within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
