ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 408, 465, 467, 468, 471, 477(A), 34, 120(b) and 420 IPC., in Crime No.2 of 2018 seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner made a submission that the amount in question has been repaid and that no loss has been caused to the defacto complainant.

3. On earlier occasion, this Court called upon the investigating officer to get in touch with the Secretary in-charge of the said Society and find out whether the statement is true or not.

4. Today, a letter addressed by the Secretary in-charge to the respondent has been produced before me in which the Secretary has stated that the amount paid by the petitioner herein has been given due credit. It is seen that the petitioner herein has paid a sum of Rs.40,23,623/-. But a sum of Rs.64,86,910/- still remains to be paid. Therefore, taking into account, the huge quantum of amount involved, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
