PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents No.1 to 3 herein from constructing any new bus shelter in the Arockia Annai Church bus Stop, Vadipatti main Road, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District and consequently to direct the respondent No. 1 herein to repair and maintain the bus shelter already built in the same place.

O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] The petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to forbear the respondents 1 to 3 herein from constructing any new bus shelter in the Arockia Annai Church bus Stop, Vadipatti main Road, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District and consequently to direct the firs respondent herein to repair and maintain the bus shelter already built in the same place.

2. The learned Government Pleader, on instructions, would submit that there is no proposal to demolish the existing bus shelter for passenger. A report filed by the Assistant Divisional Engineer, Highways, C & M, Vadipatti would show that there is no such proposal for demolishing the bus shelter.

3. In view of the above, no further consideration is required. It is needless to state that the bus shelter is to be maintained properly for the benefit of the people.
