..Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to take appropriate action on the representation of the Petitioner, dated 29.1.2016 to rectify the error in the Kottathur Village Account in Musiri Talu relating to Natham S.F.No.776/4 in the name of the Petitioner. ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.By consent of both sides, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.No counter is filed on behalf of the Respondents. 4.The grievance of the Petitioner is that he is entitled to 15 cents of land as per the as per the sale deed, dated 16.11.2010 and further, he is in possession and enjoyment of the same. He had submitted a petition to the First Respondent/The District Collector, Trichy District on 29.01.2016 to rectify the error in the Village Accounts in respect of his land in Natham S.F.No.776/4, Kottathur Village. In fact the Second Respondent/The Revenue Divisional Officer, Musiri,Trichy District sent a letter to the First Respondent/The District Collector,Trichy District in his proceedings, dated 10.2.2016 informing the First Respondent that the Third Respondent is directed to conduct appropriate inspection and submit the report. In-spite of the same, no action was taken by the Respondents. Once again, the Petitioner projected https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

a petition on 27.6.2016 to the First Respondent. Even then, no rectification has been done in the subject-matter in issue. Hence the Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition before this Court.

5.Considering the fact that the Petitioner's representation, dated 29.1.2016 is pending on the file of the Second Respondent/Third Respondent, at this stage, this Court, without going into the merits and contentions of the representation of the Petitioner dated 29.1.2016, simpliciter directs the Second Respondent/Third Respondent to look into the representation of the Petitioner, dated 29.1.2016 within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and thereafter, to dispose of the same in a free, fair, unbiased and dispassionate manner, on merits(of course after providing necessary opportunity to the Petitioner and others concerned, if any, by adhering to the principles of natural justice in true letter and spirit) within a period of three weeks thereafter.

It is open to the Petitioner to produce copies of all necessary/relevant documents before the Second Respondent/Third Respondent and the said Respondents shall take into consideration of the same at the time of disposal of the representation of the Petitioner, dated 29.1.2016. The Petitioner is directed to lend his assistance and cooperation to the above said Respondents in disposing of his representation, dated 29.1.2016 within the time frame specified by this Court. 6.With the aforesaid observations and directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
