ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the revision pending on his file in File No.Na.Ka. 2052837/2024/B4 within the time stipulated by this Court. 2.Heard the arguments of Mr.RM.Arun Swaminathan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.S.Jeya Priya, learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent. Since no adverse order is passed against the second respondent, notice to the second respondent is dispensed with. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.According to the petitioner, the property situated in Survey No. 630/1, Punapatti Village, Natham Taluk, Dindigul District, is his ancestral property. However, the patta for the said property was wrongly issued in the name of the second respondent by the Tahsildar, Natham. The said order was challenged by the petitioner before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Dindigul and the same was dismissed by order dated 30.04.2024. Challenging the said order, the petitioner preferred a revision

before the first respondent and the same is pending in Na.Ka. 2052837/2024/B4. Though enquiry for the revision petition has been heard on various dates, no final order has been passed till date. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent would submit that the revision petition pending on the file of the first respondent will be disposed of on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court.

5. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the revision petition pending on his file, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving sufficient opportunity to the petitioner and the second respondent. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. 10.06.2025 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No
