PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.24 of 2023 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner /sole accused who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 11.05.2023 for the offences under sections 294(b),326,307 of IPC in Crime No.24 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that due to land dispute the petitioner herein abused and assaulted the defacto complainant, due to which his right hand was amputated, hence the case. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report.

4. It is seen that the defacto complainant is none other than the own father of the petitioner. He had two wife and six children. He had property in which the petitioner also claims his share and a such there was dispute between them. The petitioner herein attacked his own father on his right hand with deadly weapons due to which his father's right hand was completely amputated. The petitioner has committed very offence as against his own father that too for his share in the property, which was earned by his father, hence this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
