O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent Police not to harass the petitioner.

2. From the records, it is seen that it is a matrimonial dispute between the petitioner and the fifth respondent herein. In respect of which, various complaints have been given by the fifth respondent herein.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would 1/3

submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the fifth respondent, a case in Crime No.369 of 2021 has been registered for the offence punishable under Sections 342, 323, 355, 498(A) of IPC and another complaint was also given on 31.05.2021 which is pending before the All Women Police Station, Madurai. After that, the fifth respondent gave one more complaint. Based on the false complaints, the respondent Nos.4 and 5 are threatening the petitioner.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the allegation against the petitioner is that the jewels have been misappropriated by him.

5. Since the complaint is pending investigation, the second respondent may direct the fifth respondent to appear before the Police Station in which investigation is pending, for further statement. Hence, direction is given to the second respondent herein to direct the fifth respondent to appear before whom those complaints are pending investigation.

6. With these directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
