Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission and protection for Adal Padal program perform by "Arivu Jeeva" in "Thiruvizha" scheduled to be held on 24.02.2017 at 08.00 p.m. at Arulmigu Sri Angalamman Thirukovil at Mettu Mahadhanapuram, Krishnarayapuram Taluk, Karur District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 15.02.2017. For Petitioner : Mr.R.Karthick Rajan For Respondents : Mr.D.Muruganandam, Additional Government Pleader.

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting programme of Adalpadal in the place mentioned in the petition, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus.

2.It is seen from the records that on 15.02.2017 a representation has been given to the respondents, but the same has not been considered.

3.Considering the aforesaid factual circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order. 4.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs and the second respondent is directed to look into the representation dated 15.02.2017 and dispose of the same forthwith.
