Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C. ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 498-A IPC, Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2012, in Crime No.6 of 2018, seek anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the first petitioner got married with the defacto complainant on 19.06.2017 at Thuraiyur Vishnu Mahal. After their marriage, they were living with the mother of the first petitioner as joint family. The defacto complainant gave birth to a male child namely, Parisith. From the date of marriage, the petitioners are harassing the defacto complainant by using filthy language and demanded dowry. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are innocent. They did not commit any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he prays for anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent would vehemently oppose the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

5.Considering the nature of allegations made against the petitioners, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
