Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission to conduct Orchestra (Innisai Kacheri) scheduled to be held on 24.02.2017 at 10.00 p.m. to 01.00 a.m. in "Maha Siva Rathri Mahothsavam" at Arulmighu Alwarkurichi Angala Parameshwari Temple, Alwarkurichi, Tirunelveli District.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting Innisai Kacheri in the place mentioned in the petition, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus. 2.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.

3.It is seen from the records that on 16.02.2017 a representation has been given by the petitioner, but the same has not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

Alwarkurichi Police Station, Tirunelveli District is directed to look into the representation dated 16.02.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
