Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to give protection and permission to the festival and Adaal and Paadal Program conducted at Sri Kaathanda Eswari Thirukoil, Maasi Festival at Manuthoo Village, Usilampatti Town, for Pongal and Adal Padal Scheduled on 24.02.2017 at Friday.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting programme of Adalpadal in the place mentioned in the petition, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus.

2.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.

not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

4.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs and the second respondent viz., Inspector of Police, Elumalai Police Station, Madurai District is directed to look into the representation dated 14.02.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
