Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents.
2. It is admitted by the official respondents that Survey No.456/4 Thumbakodu Village, Thiruvattar Taluk is a water body. It appears that the private respondents have encroached upon the same.
3. We direct the second respondent to take appropriate action as per law for removal of encroachment. The entire exercise will be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition stands allowed accordingly. No costs.
