Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner challenges the validity of the decision taken during the impugned Peace Committee Meeting. It is too well settled that the decision taken in the Peace Committee Meeting is not amenable to legal challenge because it is not having any statutory value or force. No legal consequences can flow therefrom. The statutory authorities cannot enforce the decision taken in the Peace Committee Meeting.

3. With this observations, this writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs. 21.07.2022 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No mga Note: Issue Order copy on 21.07.2022.
