...
Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent herein to consider the petitioner's application dated 18.02.2016.
For petitioner : Mr.G.Ganeshkumar For respondents : Mr.R.Anandharaj Government Advocate
ORDER
Mr.K.Kubentran has come forward with this Writ Petition seeking to direct the second respondent to consider the Application, dated 18.02.2016, submitted by the petitioner seeking appointment for the post of 'Multi-purpose Health Worker'. 2.
The petitioner, who hails from a Backward Community, after completing his Eighth Standard, has registered his name with the Employment Exchange on 04.10.2004. While so, on coming to know that there is a vacancy in the office of the second respondent, he submitted an Application, dated 18.02.2016, to the second respondent by enclosing all the relevant Certificates, seeking the said Authority on 22.07.2016 and 18.02.2016 to consider his request as per G.O.Ms.No.21, Labour and Employment Department, dated 02.02.2000. Since the same has not been considered, the petitioner is before this Court.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is at the verge of reaching 36 years and if the application is not considered within the time limit, he would lose the final opportunity in getting a Government job. Hence, he seeks indulgence of this Court.

4.
Mr.R.Anandharaj, learned Government Advocate was put on notice for the respondents.
5.
This Court is unable to find any merit in the submissions of the learned Counsel for the petitioner, for two reasons. First of all, the petitioner has not produced any Notification issued by the respondents calling for Applications from suitable candidates. Further, it is also not known whether any vacancy is available in the respondent Department, as claimed by the petitioner. The affidavit is totally bereft of basic details. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain the Writ Petition. Consequently, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
