The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondent to dispose of his application, dated 13.04.2014 wherein and whereby, he sought for issuance of gun license. 2.Whether the petitioner is entitled to such claim or not is for the respondent to consider and decide and therefore, this Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner. However, as it is stated that the said application is still pending before the respondent, this writ petition is disposed of without expressing any view on the merits of the matter, only with a direction to the respondent to consider the said representation and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

No costs.
