Heard both sides.
2.The petitioner had agreed to take a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- towards full quit. Today, ie., 15.07.2024, a sum of Rs.1,50,000/- has been paid by way of demand draft. Copy of the same has also been filed by the learned counsel for the legal heirs of the person who had suffered award. It is further undertaken by Mr.Meenakshi Ramprabhu, learned counsel appearing for the legal heirs that the balance amount of Rs.3,50,000/- will be paid within a period of five weeks. Liberty is given to the learned counsel for the petitioner to make a mention for reviewing the contempt proceedings in the event of non-compliance of this undertaking.
3.Recording the said submission, this contempt petition is closed.
