The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondent to dispose of the appeal pending before the respondent, which is arising out of the patta proceedings.

2.It is stated that the said appeal was filed on 01.11.2014 and that the said appeal is not disposed of so far. 3.Needless to say that if any such appeal is pending before the respondent, the same shall be disposed of on merits and in accordance with law after hearing both the parties. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of only with a direction to the respondent to consider the said appeal and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing both the parties, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a coy of this order. It is made clear that this Court is not expressing any view on the merits of the matter, as claimed by the petitioner. No costs.
