Respondents Prayer: Criminal Original petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to pass an order directing the respondents No.1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner for keeping the machineries instruments, articles and other allied business, timber products and the residual building intact at Door No.1/942, Tenkasi Road, Piranoor Border, Tirunelveli District till the tenancy right comes to an end in the Court of law between the petitioner and the 3rd respondent and also to take appropriate legal action as against the 3rd respondent and his henchmen on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner forthwith and also further give protection to the petitioner for his life and limb in carrying on the timber manufacturing process at the above said address.

2.The petitioner is a tenant under the third respondent. It is the case of the petitioner that the third respondent is attempting to evict the petitioner by using force and without following the due process of law. It is also seen from the materials on record that the respondent has involved in violence. 3.The petitioner has already been lodged complaint before the police in this regard.

4.The second respondent police is directed to call the parties and give strict instructions that the dispute between them has to be resolved only before a competent civil court. If inspite of the same the third respondent resorts to violence, the police may take appropriate action in accordance with law and if necessary provide police protection to the petitioner.

5.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
