PRAYER :-For Bail in Crime No.145 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner is facing charges under Sections 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(i) IPC @ 294(b), 323, 324, 302 and 506(ii) IPC in Crime No.145 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police. 2.The case of the prosecution is that due to the property dispute, the accused persons picked up quarrel with the defacto complainant and the deceased. The accused, namely Premkumar, assaulted Thandayiammal with hands. She fell down and also sustained injury. The accused, namely Ranjith caused assault to the defacto complainant and also criminally intimidated him. 3.The deceased was taken to the hospital and the deceased died on 23.05.2022. So, the Section was altered to 302 IPC and the petitioner was arrested on 24.05.2022 and ever since he is in custody.

CRL OP(MD). No.13196 of 2022 4.Reading of the FIR shows that specific allegation of assault has been made against A1 and insofar as this petitioner is concerned, he stated to have assaulted the defacto complainant with wooden log.

5.Considering the limited role that has been played by this petitioner and considering the period of incarceration, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner with stringent conditions.

6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail, on executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Aathur, Dindigul District, and on further condition that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m. until further orders. sd/- 21/07/2022 / TRUE COPY / 21/07/2022 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
