Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to grant permission and necessary police protection to perform the cultural program i.e., Aadal-Padal in the event of "Arul Migu Pappapatti Uchchanda Amman Temple Festival" to be held on 24.02.2017 at about 08.00 to 12.00 p.m. at Pappapatti Village, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District. [Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting Adalpadal programme in the place mentioned in the petition, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus.

2.Mr.R.Anandaraj, learned Government Advocate, has taken notice for the respondents.

3.It is seen from the records that the petitioner has given a representation on 14.02.2017 and the same has not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to pass the following order.

4.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs and the third respondent is directed to look into the representation dated 14.02.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
