ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for issuing a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to give adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner.

2. The petitioner's grand son, who is the owner viz., Ajmalkhan, was originally running a shop in the premises belonging to the Hindu Nadar Devasthanam Board. Later, he could not conduct the above said shop and that the same was handed over to the petitioner and thereafter, the third respondent has taken over the shop on giving a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- to the petitioner. Now, this petitioner again come back and seek possession from the third respondent, over which, the trouble has been arising between the parties. With regard to the above said issue, the petitioner has filed a suit in O.S.No.90 of 2023 before the District Munsif Court, Virudhunagar and the same is pending. In such circumstances, the petitioner has given a representation seeking police Station.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that during the course of enquiry, both the parties appeared before the Enquiry Officer and some sort of understanding was reached between the parties and hence, earlier complaint given by the petitioner was closed directing the parties to work out the remedy through appropriate proceedings.

4. In view of the said submission, there is no grant of Police protection. The respondent Police is directed to close the representation given by the petitioner.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
