Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of Mandamus,directing the third respondent to register the Preference Certificate issued by the fourth respondent dated 26.2.2008 in the Petitioner's Registration No.MDD2011M-00103700 and sponsor his name by giving due preference to the Preference Certificate vide representations dated 4.1.2017 and 4.2.2017.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the third respondent to register the Preference Certificate issued by the fourth respondent dated 26.2.2008 in the Petitioner's Registration No.MDD2011M-00103700 and sponsor his name by giving due preference to the Preference Certificate vide representations dated 4.1.2017 and 4.2.2017.

2.Mr.A.K.Baskarapandian, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both parties, the

Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the land in S.No.153/2, Kalloothu Village, measuring an extent of 1.19 acres belonging to the his grand-father was acquired for the purpose of using the same as house-sites for the Harijans of Kalloothu Village, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District and Petitioner's grand-father also received compensation for the acquired land. The Petitioner has now stated that he has completed B.A. English Literature and also Diploma in Computer Application and the same was duly registered with the third respondent/The Deputy Director, District Employment Office, Madurai-7. The fourth respondent has also issued Preference Certificate by his proceedings, dated 26.2.

2008 and the same was produced before the third respondent for the purpose of getting preference in the matter of sponsorship by the employment exchange for appointment. Since the said Preference Certificate was not registered by the third respondent, the Petitioner has submitted a representation on 4.1.2017 followed by another representation, dated 4.2.2017 in this regard and since the said representations did not evoke any response, the petitioner is before this Court with the relief stated supra.

4. The counsel for the respondents would submit that it is agreeable for the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders thereon.

5.In view of the submission, the third respondent is directed to consider the representations of the petitioner, dated 4.1.2017 and 4.2.2017 and to pass appropriate orders on the same in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment to do so. No costs.

6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
