O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's application, dated 05.10.2016, with a request to measure the property and demarcate the boundaries in his patta land in Survey No.73/1A at Viralipatti Village, Dindigul East Taluk, Dindigul District.

2.Needless to say that it is for the first respondent to consider the said representation of the petitioner by giving due opportunity of hearing to the rival party and pass an order on merits and in accordance with law. Therefore, this Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner.

3.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of only with a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the rival claimant/claimants. Such exercise shall be done by the respondents, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
