ORDER

This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to remove the petitioner's name from the History Sheet No.64 of 2022 on the file of the 2nd respondent by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 13.07.2022.

2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the respondent police is ready to consider the petitioner's representation and direction may be given to the first respondent.

3.Recording the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), as per Police Standing Order, the Superintendent of Police is a competent person to open or remove any person in the Histry sheet. Therefore, the first respondent police is hereby directed to consider the petitioner's represenation with regard to remove the petitioner's name from the History Sheet No.64 of 2022 on the file of the second 2 / 4

respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
