Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the order passed by the 2nd respondent in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.17/Se.Mu.Aa/Ka.Thu.Ka./ Cherai/2017 dated 11.02.2017 and quash the same, consequently direct the respondents to give permission and police protection to conduct the District Level Kabaddi Tournament by the petitioner club on 25.02.2017 Light Match (25.02.2017 06.00 p.m to 26.02.2017 08.00 a.m). ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to call for records relating to the impugned order dated 11.02.2017 passed by the second respondent and quash the same and also for directing the respondents to give permission for conducting Kabadi Tournament in the place mentioned in the petition, by way of issuing a writ of certiorarified mandamus.

2.It is seen from the records that the second respondent has rejected the representation mainly on the ground of law and order problem. The reason given by the second respondent cannot be accepted. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

3.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs and the impugned order dated 11.02.2017 passed in Na.Ka.No.17/ Se.Mu.Aa/Ka.Thu.Ka./Cherai/2017 by the second respondent is quashed. The second respondent is directed to consider the representation once again and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
