ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to provide permission and protection to the Kumbabishekam Festival on 29.05.2026 between 09.05 am and 10.05 am at Sri Poornai Sri Pushkalai Deviyal Samedha Sri Poisolla Meiya Ayyanar Temple, Nerkuppai, Sivagangai District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 01.05.2026.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent police submitted that the festival in question had already concluded and, therefore, the relief sought in the writ petition has become infructuous.
