ORDER

This revision has been filed seeking a direction to dispose of the HMOP.No.111 of 2019, on the file of the Sub Court, Kovilpattti, Tuticorin District, within a specified time fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Since the case is for a limited relief of early disposal, no notice need be sent to the respondent.

3. According to the petitioner, he has filed HMOP.No.111 of 2019, on the file of the Sub Court, Kovilpattti, Tuticorin District, for divorce on the ground of cruelty against the respondent / wife and the same is pending for the past two years without any progress. In such circumstances, the petitioner has filed the present Civil Revision Petition seeking to expedite the trial.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the learned Subordinate Judge, Kovilpattti, Tuticorin District, to dispose of the HMOP.No.111 of 2019, pending on his file, as expeditiously as possible, in any even not later than three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law.

5. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
