Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.03.2023 and take necessary action as per the enquiry report of the fourth respondent in Na.Ka.No.5825/2022/A4 dated 25.11.2022.

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 5.

2. The petitioner alleges that the sixth respondent who is Village Assistant is in possession of assets disproportionate to the known source of its income. He would also state that the Director of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DAVC) had conducted an enquiry and called upon the disciplinary authority to take a call in the matter. Since no action has been taken on the petitioner's representation dated 06.03.2023, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. It is not for this Court to give a direction to take disciplinary action against the sixth respondent. Now the first respondent is cognizance of the 2/4

petitioner's complaint and the other relevant materials. It is for the first respondent to take a call in the matter.

4. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
