Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to dispose the revision petition dated 13.01.2016 preferred by the petitioner under section 13 of the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act 1983 against the order passed by the 2nd respondent in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.3510/2015, A4 dated 10.06.2015 within a period that may be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

O R D E R
This writ petition is filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the proceedings pending before him arising out of the Patta Pass Book Act between the petitioner and the fourth respondent.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and the learned counsel appearing for the fourth respondent. 3.The grievance of the petitioner is that such proceedings are not disposed of for a long time.
4. However, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, based on instructions, submitted that now the proceedings is pending before the second respondent himself in Na.Ka.No.235 of 2016 Dated 05.01.2017 and therefore, within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court, the second respondent will decide the matter after hearing the parties.
5.Accordingly, without expressing any view on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to dispose of the proceedings pending before him in Na.Ka.No.235 of 2016 Dated 05.01.2017 in respect of the patta proceedings arising between the petitioner and the fourth respondent, after hearing the parties on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. No costs.
