Respondents PRAYER:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the grievance of the village people belongs to Pudukudieruppu, Eathamozhi Post, Rajakkamangalam Village, Kanyakumari District before granting any permission for the installation of Lord Vinayagar Idols at Pudukudieruppu, Eathamozhi Post, Rajakkamangalam Village, Kanyakumari District during the Vinayagar Chathurthi eve on 13.09.2018.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent police to consider the representation dated 13.09.2018 given by the Village people of Rajakkamangalam, Kanyakumari District.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the entire village people are living with harmony and certain persons from out side are trying to create problems in the name on installation of Vinayagar idol in the Village. The request of the petitioner is that before granting any such permission, the respondent police should have a word with the local people and thereafter, give permission.

confidence before granting any permission for installation of Vinayagar idol or to take it in procession.

4.This Writ Petition is disposed with the above direction. No costs.
