ORDER

The present criminal original petition is filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 police authorities to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and her husband to

ensure their life and limb safety, based on the petitioner's representation dated 26.04.2026.

2.The Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is doing agricultural activity and she is intended to harvest the same. He further submitted that if the police protection is granted for such harvest alone, the same would suffice.

3.Therefore, the official respondents are directed to grant police protection to the petitioner and her husband at the cost of the petitioner. If any rival claim, the respondents shall conduct enquiry and pass orders. 4.With the above observations, this criminal original petition is allowed. 07-05-2026 Tmg
