ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the application of the petitioner, dated 19.09.2017 and forthwith grant renewal of license in favour of the petitioner for running vegetarian light refreshment room at Cuddalore Port Junction, Southern Railway.

2. Heard both sides.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing Mr.S.Manohar, learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that if the petitioner restricts his prayer only for considering his application, the authority concerned will consider the same and pass orders.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner also accedes for the same.

5. Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, directs the authority concerned to consider the application of the petitioner, dated 19.09.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance in law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
