Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to give the permission and adequate police protection for conducting Aadal Paadal Dance Programme on 24.02.2017 in the eve of Maha Sivarathiri Festival in front of 'Sri 21 Sankili Karuppasamy' Temple at Keelakadaneri, Kadaneri Village, Peraiyur Taluk, Madurai District on the basis of the Petitioner's Representation dated 17.02.2017. For Petitioner : Mr.T.Vadivelan For Respondents : Mr.D.Muruganandam, Additional Government Pleader.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting programme of Adalpadal in the place mentioned in the petition, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus.

2.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.

not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

4.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs and the second respondent is directed to look into the representation dated 17.02.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
