ORDER
The Civil Revision Petition is filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Melur, to complete the proceedings in D.V.C.No.18 of 2021within a period stipulated by this Court.
2.The first petitioner is the wife and the second petitioner is the son of the first respondent and they have filed a petition in D.V.C.No.18 of 2021 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur, against the respondents, under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005. 3.According to the revision petitioners, even though the D.V.C.No.18 of 2021 was posted for filing counter before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur, since four months, the first respondent/husband failed to file a counter till date. Hence, they sought for a direction for speedy disposal. 4.Considering the facts that D.V.C.No.18 of 2021 pertains to the year 2021 and it is pending for filing counter for more than two years, this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur, to dispose of the D.V.C.No.18 of 2021 in accordance with law, without any further delay, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
