The Petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to consider the Petitioner's representation, dated 6.3.2025 for issuance of patta in favour of the Petitioner in S.NO.299/3B, situated at Uthapuram Post, peraiyur Taluk, Madurai District. 2.Mr.M.Gangatharan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3.According to the petitioner, he has been in possession and enjoyment of the above mentioned property from 1990 by putting up a residential house thereon. On the strength of his long possession, the Petitioner submitted a representation to the first respondent on 6.3.2025 seeking issuance of patta in his favour. The same has not been considered till date. Hence, the Petitioner has come before this Court with the present Writ Petition for the relief stated supra.
4.Mr.M.Gangatharan, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 submit that the 2/5
representation submitted by the Petitioner will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court. 5.In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the Petitioner, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the Petitioner, dated 6.3.2025 and pass orders on its own merits, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
