This writ petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondents herein to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner while carrying on our works to erect the Sales Depot at Trichy - Thuraiyur 3/574 KM and Manachanallur - Edumalai - Elandalaipatti Road 0/120 (State Highways Road) on the basis of the permission granted by the Highways Department vide its proceedings in Ka.No.2358/2016/E.Va.A2/dated 30.11.2016 and on the basis of the representation of the petitioner dated 23.01.2017. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

It is seen that the Highways Department has given permission to the petitioner to put up a Sales Depot at Trichy - Thuraiyur Highway, Manachanallur - Edumalai - Elandalaipatti Road and that there are some encroachers, who are not permitting the petitioner to put up the outlet. Therefore, the petitioner has given a representation to the police to remove the encroachments. The petitioner is directed to give a representation to the Highways Department and on such representation being given, the Highways Department shall remove the encroachments with the help of the police and ensure that the order of allotment dated 30.11.2016 given to the petitioner is implemented.
