survey from the Commissionerate of Survey and Settlement online portal and the representation, dated 18.12.2024.

ORDER
The Writ Petition is filed, seeking a direction to the respondents to survey his lands in Survey 163/16C, Iruvinivayal Village, Devakottai Taluk, Sivagangai District, by considering his representation, dated 18.12.2024.
2. According to the petitioner, the subject property belongs to him ancestrally and the revenue document stands in his name in Patta No.718. He submitted a representation before the respondents, seeking survey of the property and the same has not been considered. Hence, he has come before this Court.
3. The learned Additional Advocate General, who appears for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the subject property was surveyed and the land, required for laying road, was also already identified.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the respondents identified the land required for laying road, the entire extent of the property, as stands in the subject survey number, has not been surveyed.
5. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to produce acknowledgement for filing proper online application, seeking survey of the property, before the second respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. On production of such acknowledgement by the petitioner, respondents No.2 and 4 shall consider the online application of the petitioner and take a decision regarding survey of the entire extent within a period of eight weeks, after issuing notice to petitioner, neighbouring land owners and other interested parties.
6. The Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs. 30.06.2025 NCC :
