2022, drawn on Canara Bank, Aduthurai (1202) Branch in Demand Draft No.435136 in the name of the petitioner for a sum of Rs.2,50,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs Fifty Thousand Only), which was deposited pursuant to the order dated 17.06.2022 in Crl.MP(MD).No.6754 of 2022 in Crl.MP(MD). No.5343 of 2022 in Crl.OP(MD).No.7854 of 2022, pending disposal of the above criminal original petition.
Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.RAMANATHAN.AN, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.R.NARAYANAN, Advocate on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvidaimaruthur to permit the petitioner to receive the demand draft dated 26.05.2022 drawn on Canara Bank, Aduthurai (1202) Branch in Demand Draft No.435136 in the name of the petitioner for a sum of Rs.2,50,000/-.

2. This Court by an order dated 17.06.2022 in Crl.M.P(MD) No.6754 of 2022in Crl.O.P(MD) No.7854 had directed the learned Magistrate to receive the demand draft and credit the said amount to the credit of Crl.M.P.No.1347 of 2020 in M.C. No.14 of 2020. As directed by the Court the said amount was deposited. Now the petitioner herein seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the said amount.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent did not raise any objection for withdrawing the amount.
4. In view of the same, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is allowed and the petitioner is permitted to withdraw a sum of Rs.2,50,000/-paid by the petitioner before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvidaimaruthur.
