This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to send the pension proposals in respect of the Petitioner to the Accountant General, Chennai, within the time frame fixed by this Court.

for the newly suo-motu impleaded third respondent. By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that proposal for granting the relief to the Petitioner has been forwarded to the Accountant General, Chennai-18 with regard to grant of pension and other terminal benefits and the same will be scrutinized and the Petitioner would be given the benefits, if the petitioner is otherwise found eligible. 4.In view of the above said submission, the third respondent is directed to consider the above said proposal and pass appropriate orders thereon in accordance with law, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
