Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents herein to grant permission and protection for cultural event namely "Adal Padal Programme" scheduled to be held on 26.02.2017 at night in connection with "Poocherithal Festival" at "Thiruvappur Sree Muthumari Amman Kovil" at Thiruvappur, Thirukkokarnam Post, Pudukottai Taluk and District by considering representation of the petitioner dated 10.02.2017.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting programme of Adalpadal in the place mentioned in the petition, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus.

2.Mr.M.Govindan, learned Special Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.

not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

4.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs and the second respondent is directed to look into the representation dated 10.02.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
