ORDER

This Criminal Original petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent police to add the name of the particular person as an accused in Crime No.462 of 2017.

2.It is seen from the records that in the FIR there is no mention about the person against whose name is sought to be added in the FIR. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the involvement of the said person came to the knowledge of the petitioner only at a later point of time. Therefore, a representation was made to the police, on 15.04.2018, to investigate the case insofar as that person is concerned and also add him as an accused.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the police is investigating the case and the representation given by the petitioner will also be taken into consideration during the course of investigation and if after investigation, the involvement of the said person comes to light, the respondent police will take https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

appropriate steps to include him as an accused. 4.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
