O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents herein to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner life and limb and her property on the basis of the petitioner complaint dated 22.08.2021.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the property in Survey No.156/8A originally belongs to the petitioner. But,the private respondents herein are trying to grab the property from her. Hence, the present petition has been filed seeking police protection.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the private respondents are the relatives of the petitioner and the third respondent is the brother-in-law of the petitioner. As per the complaint, the private respondents were alleged to have put up a shop in the property of the petitioner. On that ground, a complaint has been given. However, the petitioner did not cooperate for the enquiry. On the basis of the statement given by the parties, it was closed on 20.08.2021 observing that it is a family dispute between the parties.

4. In view of the above submission, granting of police protection may not arise at all. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out her remedy before the Civil Court. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
