ORDER

The petitioner has approached this Court seeking police protection to the petitioner's family to participate in the "Santhana Kappu" and other rituals, which is scheduled to be held on 07.07.2024. 2.The case of the petitioner is that in the petitioner's village, there was a communal dispute between the villagers and hence, the private respondents herein restricted him and his family members from participating in the festival, namely, "Santhana Kappu" in Selva Vinayagar Temple, Paramanavayal Village & Post, Manalmelgudi Taluk, Pudukottai District, which is scheduled to be held on 07.07.2024. Therefore, the petitioner filed the present petition.

3.The petitioner has made some allegations, however, he has approached this Court in the last minute. The festival is scheduled to be held on 07.07.2024 and therefore, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction 2/4

to the second respondent to look-into this issue and to find out whether any caste discrimination is there and if there is any dispute, the second respondent shall take appropriate action and also ensure the participation of the petitioner in the festival.
